Downtown Frederick is set for a night of traditional country music, Americana storytelling, and high-energy live entertainment as award-winning Nashville recording artist Mike Kuster returns to the stage with The Catoctin Cowboys on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Sky Stage.

Fresh off a string of successful performances from the coast to coast and continued momentum on the independent country charts, Kuster has become known for combining heartfelt songwriting with the timeless sounds of classic country music. Fans can expect an evening filled with original songs, crowd favorites, and a few surprises along the way.

Over the past several years, Kuster has earned national recognition on the independent country scene, including honors as the Independent Music Network’s Entertainer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. His catalog includes multiple No. 1 songs such as “Front Porch Swing,” “Back To Feagaville,” “Frog Eye Mud Bog,” and “Corn Fed.”

Backed by The Catoctin Cowboys, the live show delivers a dynamic mix of honky-tonk energy, outlaw country attitude, bluegrass influences, and authentic Americana spirit. Whether performing an emotional ballad or a boot-stomping country anthem, Kuster and his band continue to connect with audiences across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.

“Frederick is home has always been one of my favorite places to play,” said Kuster. “Sky Stage is such a special venue, and we’re excited to bring a great night of country music to downtown Frederick.”

Located in the heart of the city, Sky Stage has become one of Frederick’s premier live music destinations, offering an intimate outdoor setting that perfectly complements an evening of live country music under the summer sky.

Concertgoers are encouraged to make a full evening of it by enjoying downtown Frederick’s restaurants, shops, and nightlife before the show begins.
