A free concert featuring country, emo, and reggae music hits Frostburg on Thursday, October 22

Country music is heading to Frostburg State University! I’m excited to bring my music to Rock The Vote on Thursday, October 22, at 5:30 p.m., joining a diverse lineup of artists for a free concert celebrating music, community, and civic engagement.

Presented by Savage Mountain Punk Arts, Frostburg State University, and The Beall Institute for Public Policy, Rock The Vote brings together different musical styles and audiences for an afternoon of live entertainment on campus.

I’ll be sharing the stage with Be Safe Band, an emo band, and Strykers Posse, a Baltimore reggae band. From country music to emo and reggae, this lineup is all about bringing different sounds together for one big musical experience.

Bringing Maryland Country Music to Frostburg

As a Frederick County native, award-winning Nashville recording artist, and songwriter, I’ve spent years bringing my own brand of country music to audiences from Maryland to Oregon. My music is rooted in the traditional country sounds I grew up loving, inspired by legends like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard.

Whether I’m playing one of my original songs or a country classic, my goal is to bring honest storytelling, a little honky-tonk spirit, and the kind of music that brings people together.

I’m looking forward to sharing that sound with the Frostburg State University community and everyone who comes out for this unique event.

Three Genres. One Stage. One Free Concert.

Rock The Vote is an opportunity to experience something different, discover new music, and enjoy live performances from artists with different musical backgrounds. Whether you’re a country fan, an emo enthusiast, a reggae listener, or simply looking for something fun to do on a Thursday afternoon, there’s a place for you in the crowd.

And with free admission, it’s a great opportunity to bring friends, enjoy some live music, and experience the energy of a diverse lineup.
