Mike’s summer single “Frog Eye Mud Bog” holds the top spot on the Independent Music Network’s Country Top 30 for the second week, and previously topped the U.K. and European HotDisc Top 40 Chart. The song gains more airplay each week, encouraging fans to request it on their favorite radio stations.

Mike’s show schedule has been updated. The Water Lantern Festival in Washington D.C. moved from August 3rd to August 25th. Upcoming shows: August 22nd in Frederick, Maryland with The Catoctin Cowboys, solo on August 24th in Poolesville, Maryland, and solo on August 25th in National Harbor.

“Frog Eye Mud Bog” is written about an annual event over on the other side of the mountain from where I grew up. I remember seeing the road, Frog Eye Road, when picking up hay with my dad. I thought that was such a great road name. Then, I found out about the mud bog event. I thought, “that should be a country song.”
