Mike Kuster and The Catoctin Cowboys return to the Grandstand Stage at The Great Frederick Fair on Monday, September 21, 2026, for the fifth consecutive year, kicking off the Annual Truck and Tractor Pull with an hour of live country music. For Mike, the performance is a full-circle moment after years as a 4-H and FFA member and later as a 4-H agent running programs and shows at the Fair.

The Catoctin Cowboys are growing! Mike Kuster welcomes E.B. Brooks on fiddle and Jimi Cupino on guitar to the band, joining longtime Cowboys Rockabilly Mikey C, Hank Kehlbeck, and Michael “Ponyboy” Joyce. And whenever his schedule allows, “Lonesome Chris” Thompson will still be joining us onstage. A new chapter is underway—and the Cowboys are ready to ride.
