We love Dolly Parton! As we mourn her passing, we will join the world in celebrating her as a songwriter, singer, musician, artist, actor, philanthropist, and ICON! Earlier this year, we celebrated her birthday at a show at Rockwell Brewery in Frederick, Maryland with this cover of her iconic “9 to 5”.

Of course, I’ve been a fan of Dolly my whole life! I featured her songs on many solo shows over the years including my “COVID Sessions” that I broadcast during the lockdown.

Here’s an old Bill Monroe song she covered on Trio with Emmylou Harris and Linda Rondstadt.

Here’s one of my favorites, because my Momma used to sew all of our clothes to save our family money when I was a child.

I recorded this cover of “Bargain Store” six years ago.
