Mike Kuster & The Catoctin Cowboys are looking to expand the band, and we’re searching for great musicians in the Maryland / DC / Northern Virginia / West Virginia area!
We’re specifically looking for players interested in auditioning on Thursday evening, August 27, 2026, for:
🎸 Electric Guitar
🎸 Steel Guitar
🎻 Fiddle
🪕 Mandolin
🎹 Keyboard
And we’re open to other instruments, too! If you play something that you think could add to the sound of a working country/Americana band, don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’re looking for musicians who love traditional and classic country, honky-tonk, Americana, bluegrass, and roots music and who can bring their own musical personality to the band.
This is a working, gigging band with live shows, original music, and a growing schedule, so we’re looking for reliable, professional musicians who want to play regularly and be part of a team.
A strong knowledge of country music is important, but just as important is being able to listen, play for the song, work with the other musicians, and have a good time on stage.
