There’s something special about playing a hometown show, and this Thursday I’ll be back at one of my favorite places to perform—Tenth Ward Distilling Company in the heart of downtown Frederick.

From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., I’ll be bringing an evening of live country music, featuring a mix of my original songs and the classic country favorites that have inspired me throughout my career. Whether you’ve been following my music since Better Late Than Never, recently discovered songs like “Distant Trains” or “Corn Fed,” or you’re simply looking for a great Thursday night out, I’d love to see you there.

One of the things that makes this show unique is that you don’t have to choose between great drinks and a great meal. While you’re enjoying handcrafted spirits and cocktails from Tenth Ward, you can also order dinner from Maxwell’s Burgers & Shakes right next door and have it delivered directly to your table. It’s the perfect way to spend an evening—excellent food, outstanding cocktails, and live music all in one place.

And here’s a little bonus: while this is scheduled as one of my solo acoustic shows, there’s a good chance a few members of The Catoctin Cowboys will stop by and join me for part of the evening. You never know exactly what might happen when hometown musicians get together, and those surprise moments often make for the most memorable nights.

Tenth Ward has become one of Frederick’s premier destinations for craft spirits, creative cocktails, and live entertainment. Every time I play there, the crowd brings incredible energy, great song requests, and plenty of laughs. Those conversations between songs and the familiar faces in the audience are what make these hometown performances so rewarding.

If you’ve been meaning to catch one of my acoustic shows, this is a great opportunity. I’ll be sharing the stories behind many of my songs, taking requests, and maybe even getting a little help from some special guests.
