Happy New Year!
I want to send a thanks to you for being a part of my music family and joining me on this ride!
The past year has been a journey of changes for me and my family. My oldest son moved away to college. His twin sister moved to Montana to work in our national parks and forests. My youngest son started college here at home. In fact, we now have no teenagers; they’re all in their twenties!
I wrote a lot of music and went back to the studio to record. I played music from Brooklyn, New York to Nashville, Tennessee!
I continued sending songs to radio from my album, “Country So Fresh You Have To Check Your Boots”, all of which have hit Number 1 on multiple indie charts.
Earlier in the year, my EP, “Mountain Monsters of Maryland” was a finalist for Best Country/Americana Album at the Washington Area Music Awards, and my whole family joined me in attending the awards show in Tysons, Virginia.
I started back in the studio in Nashville back in October. “Fifty” was released from that session in November. “Back In My Good Days” will drop to streaming platforms on January 10th.
Both are included in my new “Mike Kuster – The Mix Tape” USB Drive collection of all of my music, videos, and more (which you can buy right here on bandcamp).
I’ll be recording some more in Nashville in a few weeks! So, look for more music throughout 2025!
I’ve been working with some new band members for the past few months, and we’re gearing up for a great 2025! We’re still booking dates and waiting on contracts for shows. Dates will be released for some shows on Thursday!
Yesterday, the Independent Music Network announced my nomination for four awards for 2024! I am so blessed to have so many friends and supporters. It really is overwhelming when I see your messages, streams of songs, and purchases.
I cannot overstate my appreciation for your support! I’d love for each of you to purchase my music on physical media (CD, Vinyl, or USB), and sharing it with your friends! It’s the best way to support my continued work as a recording artist. You can also ask your favorite venues to book me to play!
I am sending you all my best for a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
Yours,
Mike
