There are a lot of things I love about playing Country Music in Maryland, but getting to be part of community festivals is pretty high on the list.

This Saturday, October 10th, I’ll be heading up the mountain to perform at the 50th Annual Sabillasville Mountain Festival.

I’ll be playing from 1–3 p.m., bringing a couple hours of Country Music to a festival that has been part of the Sabillasville community for half a century.

Celebrating 50 Years in Sabillasville

Fifty years is a pretty incredible milestone for any community festival.

The Sabillasville Mountain Festival brings people together for a day of food, fellowship, activities, vendors, entertainment, and plenty of reasons to spend a Saturday enjoying the mountains of Northern Frederick County.

But this festival is about more than just having a great day.

All proceeds from the Sabillasville Mountain Festival benefit the Sabillasville community by supporting the students, programs, and future of the Sabillasville Environmental School.

That’s a cause worth celebrating! I’m really happy to support this, because my grand-nephew is a student at the school!

The festival takes place at:

I’m looking forward to being part of this year’s 50th anniversary celebration and adding some live Country Music to the afternoon.

Come See Me in Sabillasville

For me, these kinds of shows are about more than just getting on stage and playing songs. They’re a chance to connect with people in the communities around Frederick County and share the music I’ve spent years writing and recording.

I’ll be bringing my guitar and playing a mix of Country Music that fits right in with a Saturday afternoon festival.

So if you’ve never been to the Sabillasville Mountain Festival, the 50th anniversary is a pretty good excuse to make the trip.

And if you’ve been going for years, I’ll see you there!
